Research & Insights
Through a survey with 18 participants, I wanted to understand how users experienced the existing website and which information they struggled to find. The results showed clear usability issues around navigation and access to practical details such as activities, opening hours, prices, and information about the farm’s animals.

Wireframe
In the early development stage, I explored different layout options and content hierarchies to create a clearer flow, ensuring users could quickly understand the services offered and find what they needed with minimal effort.
Old VS New Design
I restructured the content with clearer hierarchy, improved flow, and simplified navigation to reduce cognitive load and guide families, schools, and event visitors more intuitively. The result transformed the site from an informal information board into a cohesive and trustworthy digital presence that better reflects Voll Gård’s professionalism and warmth.

Visual profile
Voll Gård’s visual identity was enhanced to express a warm, earthy, and rural tone of voice and identity. This was achieved through using color tones, typography, graphic elements, and imagery that together creates a welcoming and naturalistic expression.
