My role
My role was to design the website, with responsibility for information architecture, user flow, and the overall user experience. The two other team members focused on research activities, service evaluation, and the development of the graphic profile.

Research & Insights
Using insights from interviews, surveys and observations, an Opportunity–Solution Tree was developed to structure the findings and brainstorm design ideas based on real user and business needs. Through this process, the two following key issues were discovered: 1) The service lacks visibility 2) The concept is not communicated clearly enough to users.

Personas
To gain a more clear understanding of the target groups needs, three different personas were made: parents, children, and volunteers, each approaching the service with different goals, motivations and concerns.

Competitive analysis
To better understand industry standards, best practices, and gaps in existing solutions, a competitive analysis was used to compare similar services, including Whirli Kids, Jus Play, Liledu, and Cape Cod Toy Library.

Sitemap
The content was organized to create a clearer hierarchy and more logical flow, ensuring that users can quickly understand the structure of the information and navigate it intuitively.

Wireframe
Before developing the the website, I built a sitemap to structure the content into a clear hierarchy and logical flow, ensuring that users can quickly understand the structure of the information and navigate it intuitively.

Visual Profile
We aimed to present Miljøbarn as approachable, friendly and playful. To support this, we used soft shapes, a playful color palette, and a warm, inviting tone of voice throughout the design.
